For dancers with some prior experience You’ve already completed a Basic 1 course with us or learned Salsa and Bachata elsewhere, but you're looking for more playfulness, connection, and expression in your dancing? Then this course is the perfect fit for you! To the joyful rhythms of Latin American and Caribbean music, we’ll dive deeper into Salsa and Bachata over the course of the trimester. The course includes: A short review of the basic steps Learning new figures and combinations Refining your dance technique Enhancing core skills like connection, musicality, body awareness, and improvisation There are many different styles of Salsa and Bachata — in this course, our focus will be on Cuban Salsa and Sensual Bachata. 🌟 Dancing with all your senses To deepen your awareness and connection, we’ll occasionally use a dance blindfold that fully blocks your vision. This heightens your other senses, allowing you to feel even the smallest impulses, subtle weight shifts, and the nonverbal communication between partners more clearly. 👥 Who can join?
